What if I have to cancel?

In the event that you need to cancel a birthday party, you must cancel 10 days prior to receive a full refund.

How much time do we get to set up/decorate?

You (host) can arrive 30 minutes before your party start time. If you must bring your own child with you for this setup time, they must be highly supervised and stay within the designated party zone.

Can we tour the museum while we are at the birthday party?

No. You must stay in your party zone while you are at the museum for the party. You will be able to see some of the aircraft from your party zone. Plan to come another day to tour our exhibits.

What does the museum provide for a birthday party?

TSWM will provide themed activities of your choice for 45 minutes -led by TSWM staff. Tables, chairs, and trash cans will be set up to accommodate your party. Your party zone will be private and not open to the public. After activity time you will have 45 minutes to celebrate in your party zone. You are responsible for the food and drink provided at your party. 

How is clean-up after the party handled?

You will have 15 minutes to clean up after your party time has ended. TSWM will provide one rolling cart to help you move your personal items to the parking lot. TSWM staff will handle all breakdown of tables and chairs and removal of trash.  

How many adults/chaperones are needed for a birthday party?

For all guests/children ages 8 and under we require a parent or guardian to be present at the party. Children ages 9 and up may be dropped off IF they are under the supervision of the host adult. Drop-off children (ages 9 and older) must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. 

What Items Are Prohibited ?
  • Helium balloons or any floating objects
  • Open flames (a few candles on the cake-lit briefly-are the exception)
  • Fountains of any sort (food, drink, or decorative)
  • Glass bottles and containers
  • Smoking and vaping
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Aerosols
  • Any swinging/hanging apparatus
  • Drones or remote control vehicles
  • Clubs, long sticks, and baseball bats
  • Chewing gum
  • Pets /Animals (please contact us about ADA service animals)
  • Skateboards, Scooters, Roller skates, or ‘Heelys’ shoes
  • Any toy or object that launches or projects another object or substance
