Birthday Party FAQs

Make your child’s next birthday party unforgettable! The Museum offers exciting activities and birthday party fun!

Party Packages Feature:

  • Party held in the TSWM party zone for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Party includes hands-on science activity.
  • Party days and start times are as follows:
    • Fridays      4:30/5:00/5:30/6:00
    • Saturdays  4:30/5:00/5:30/6:00

Note: Purchase at least two weeks in advance of party date is required.

Birthday Party Activities:

Our exciting birthday activities will make your child’s special day fantastic! Each party includes one activity, which will be arranged by age group below (older children may select from younger child activities if desired).

3-8 years old

  • Planes! Learn about planes and climb in a plane
  • How Does It Fly? Learn about the principles of flight and climb in a plane

6-9 years old (Older children may also select from younger activities)

  • Kites: Learn about kites and make a kite
  • Parachutes: Learn about parachutes and make a parachute
  • Gliders: Take off on an aviation adventure when you build and test fly your own paper plane
  • Slime: Investigate the properties of polymers and take home your own ooey-gooey bag of slime
  • Scavenger Hunt

10-13 years old (Older children may also select from younger activities)

  • Bailey Birthday Bridge: History of bridge and build a small bridge
  • Airplane Olympics
  • We Can Do It! Learn about Rosie the Riveter, use a riveter and climb in a plane
  • Scavenger Hunt

Birthday Party Package Pricing

  • $350 for Non-Members
  • $315 for Members ($35 savings)

Includes a total of 20 party attendees (children and/or adults).   Additional guests are $10 each. 

Special Notes on Packages:

  • All birthday parties must be paid for in full at time of booking. 
  • Additional guests will be invoiced following birthday party. 
  • Any changes to package selection, activity, and/or theme must be made 10 calendar days before the party.
  • In the event that you need to cancel a birthday party, you must cancel 10 days prior to receive a full refund.
