Scouting Group FAQs
What time should I arrive?
- Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before your program begins. Badge days are carefully scheduled, and arriving on time makes the day go easier for both you and your scouts.
- If you would like to drop off your scout please come check in your scout and receive a wristband for our pickup procedure.
Can I bring my child's siblings along?
No, all participating pre-registered scouts must be accounted for prior to day of program.
Am I required to stay?
For parents with scouts under the age of 10 years old, we require you to stay on the premise until the programs end. If your scouts are over the age of 10 years, you are welcome to drop your child(ren) off and explore the Batavia area. If you choose to stay there will be a seated parent section with wifi. We do kindly ask that parents who choose to wait please stay within the designated area and refrain from exploring the museum.
Can I tour the museum during or after the program?
No touring is permitted during a Badge Night event. The Museum is open for general tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You can also schedule a private group tour for your troop on a different day. (Wednesdays and Saturdays only at designated times).
Are scout uniforms required?
You do not have to wear your uniform. You can wear a troop shirt or regular clothes.
