Scouting Group FAQs
What time should I arrive?
- Doors open 10 minutes before your program begins. We do NOT offer early admittance to browse. Programs start promptly.
- Guests more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted.
Can I bring my child's siblings along?
Programs are for official scouts. No siblings admitted. Only scouts pre-registered may participate.
Am I required to stay?
- Scouts up to age 9 years old: Must have one parent stay on museum premises during the program. ONLY ONE PARENT/ADULT PER SCOUT.
- Scouts 10 years and up: Parent may drop off if remaining within a 5-mile radius of the museum. Parent must check in the scout and receive a wristband for pickup procedure.
Can I tour the museum during or after the program?
No touring is permitted during a Badge Night event. The Museum is open for general tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You can schedule a private group tour for your troop by clicking on this link.
Are scout uniforms required?
You do not have to wear your uniform. You can wear a troop shirt or regular clothes.
