FLYIN’ FUN!

Grades: K-2nd

Students discover how people learned to fly! Students start by examining different creatures that fly, learn about the basic forces of flight, and then get hands-on with a flying aircraft!

YOUNG AVIATORS

Grades: 3rd – 5th

Students explore the science and history of flight! Students experiment with the four forces of flight, explore a bi-plane and then use this knowledge to build a bi-plane!

SCIENCE OF FLIGHT

Grades: 6th – 8th

Students investigate the science of flight. Students will explore and experiment with the four forces of flight and Bernoulli’s Principle. Students will also learn about the basic control surfaces of a plane and build a flying bi-plane.

LIVING HISTORY OF WWII

Grades: 7th – 12th

Students gain an unique insight and perspective of WWII by participating in interactive and role playing experiences. Students will decide to enlist in the armed forces or wait to be drafted and will explore the ramifications of these decisions. Students will experience military life and will learn how WWII altered life on the Home Front and for different minority groups.

RIGHTING A WRONG [coming in 2022 ]

Grades: 7th – 12th

Students will examine the complicated history of the relocation of Japanese Americans during WWII. Students will be able to experience hands-on a typical home in a Japanese internment camp.
