DESCRIPTION:Register Here!\nThe next segment in our Lecture Series is Military Mapping Maidens.   Michelle Reid of Museum Pros will present Military Mapping Maidens. \nMilitary Mapping Maidens will feature the contributions of over 200 women.  These young women were recruited by the US Army Map Service to research and draw maps by hand for the Allied war effort in WWII. \nThey charted the course for the Allied forces and they drew the path to victory in Europe\, Africa and in the Pacific. They made their mark by creating maps that helped to win the war. \nPresenter: Michelle Reid \n  \n
