People of D-Day Homeschool Days includes:
This program will feature hands-on activities for students and engaging content, including a recent interview with David Hamilton, 97, a Pathfinder pilot on D-Day who flew in the first wave of 20 C-47s, called Gooney Birds, to mark drop zones in France for thousands of paratroopers who followed minutes later. The program will be anchored by the Student News Net “People of D-Day” Resource Trunk and companion website for a unique blended learning opportunity.
